The meeting was called to order at 7:15 p.m.

5) Executive Reports

President’s Report

-No Report

Association Manager (by Ann King for Pierre Gratton)

-BB Kits given to Vanier Blues.

-Three leagues have not paid memberberships. (Therese Renaud, Marilyn Amo and Les Vaughan).

-Must send cheque to CTF by end of October.

6) Committees

Monthly Ball Draws

-October draw is going well. Through tournaments and special events, all monies will be returned to membership this season.

Tournaments - Tim Lalonde

-Mixed Doubles Strike 9 Tournament - November 16, 2008.

-$200.00 from Ball Draw will be contributed to the prizes.

Lane Inspections - Ann King

-Reports and readings submitted to CTF.

7) Business From Previous Minutes

Coaching Clinic with Gerry Rodriquez

-Scheduled for Saturday, November 1, 2008

-Clinic will be cancelled on October 24^th if we don’t get ten participants.

TSN Bowling - Ann King

-Galaxie is a member of the Bowling Proprietors Association of Canada, therefore bowlers from Galaxie can qualify.

-Pierre to get package and provide details.

Local Awards - Ann King

-Number of games to qualify - deferred.

Canadian Mixed Championships 2010 - Ann King

-McArthur Lanes will inform us if they wish to host this tournament.

CTF Officials Program

-Will be discontinued at end of 2008. Anyone wishing to complete the questionaire must do so and submit to CTF ASAP.

8) Other Business

Honor Score Board

-Discussion on categories.

-New supplier required - suggestion Paul Martin Trophies, Orleans.

-See if Owen Labelle will look after this.

-Outstanding plaques and new plaques to be made by new supplier and board updated.

Ottawa Sports Awards - deferred.
